箱いっぱいのとうもろこしがついにラスト3本になり悩んだ挙句、2本はとうもろこしご飯に1本は焼くことにしました。
とうもろこし名人が身内に居てくれて本当に幸せ♡
うちの庭にも植えているのですが昨年は見事な失敗・・
いや、アート作品のような出来でしたから教訓を生かせているかどうか収穫が楽しみです。
あ、「失敗」という言葉の響きはネガティブなので「チャレンジ！」と言い換えることにします。
実は私もチャレンジが好きで、近頃ハマっている「ほったらかしパン」で夫の好きなオニオンブレッド焼いてみようと思い早速冷蔵庫でほったらかされているパン生地に生の玉ねぎ、ベーコン、プロセスチーズをサイコロに切って巻き込み焼いてみました。
二次発酵の時間が短すぎたかなーと思うような出来栄えでしたが、何となく要領は分かったので次回は上手に焼けそうな感じがします（根拠のない自信）
小麦粉の調達も業務スーパーという強い味方があるので失敗してもいいからガンガン焼いていきまーすっ。
ちなみに昨日はイーグル3kgゲットしてきました。
材料
ほったらかしパン
強力粉 300ｇ
塩 4ｇ
砂糖 10ｇ
ドライイースト 1ｇ
水 200cc
↓ 以下は好みで好きなだけ
新玉ねぎ
プロセスチーズ
ベーコン
ブラックペッパー
マヨネーズ
ミックスチーズ
さて、そんな我が家に新しい家族が増えました。
ベンジャミンのベンジャミーノ君です。
先月27日は我が家のHappy anniversaryで「何か欲しい物ある？」と聞かれたのですが、本当に欲しいものはお金で買えないので折角聞いてくれたのに何となくフェードアウトしていたのですが、数日後になって「鉢植え」とお告げが降りてきたのです。
出掛けた先は湯河原のESPOTの花屋さん、手入れの行き届いた鉢植えをリーズナブルな価格で購入できるお気に入りの店です。
時期柄、観葉植物よりも紫陽花等の鉢花が多く店先を彩っていて、お店の人に聞くと「もう少しして花がない頃になると観葉植物ばかりが並ぶよ」と教えてくれたので出直そうかなと思ったのですが片隅のベンジャミンが目に留まり（しかも50％ＯＦＦ）連れて帰ることにしました。
ベンジャミン1400円、スクエアポット977円、土870円・・・家に置くと花屋さんに居た頃より大きく立派に見えます。
